This corruption must stop.
Right now, members of Congress shape policies that affect the companies and markets where they make personal investments. This means that our elected leaders can use their positions of power when trading their own stocks.
This is not leadership that works on behalf of the people they are supposed to serve; this is politicians lining their own pockets. |
| I believe in banning congressional stock trading so our elected leaders get back to working by and for the people, not for their own bank accounts. Voters should be able to trust that their representatives in Congress are making decisions in the public interest.
The American people deserve principled and trusted leaders.
