I want to start by saying thank you.
Because of your support, we're entering this election year with real momentum and a growing coalition behind us. There is so much in the world and in the news competing for our attention and attempting to distract us from the task at hand. I need to know you remain focused and with me in Reclaiming the Promise of America and restoring the balance of power in our government. If you're still with us, will you chip in to my campaign right now to help us kick off this month strong?
A majority of California Democrats backed our campaign at the convention. We kicked off our field plan and knocked on the doors of hundreds of voters in the district, and what I am hearing loud and clear is that Americans are hungry to send new leadership to Congress and are excited to support our campaign.
They know I'm the only candidate in this race with the experience to take on ICE and the grassroots strength needed to unseat Young Kim and Ken Calvert.
Now it's time to take the next step.
This month, we're launching our goal to raise $26,000 in preparation for our first FEC filing deadline of the election year. That filing will be the first public snapshot of our strength in 2026, and everyone will be watching.
What we report will send a message about whether CA-40 is ready to flip this seat.
Reaching $26,000 this month means we can continue expanding our field program, reaching voters early, and preparing for the millions of dollars Republicans are pouring into this race. It means we start the election year from a position of strength.
I'm not taking money from AIPAC, corporate PACs or special interests because I believe it is people who power our democracy and this campaign, and it will be the people who deliver the victory. That's why we need your help today to reach 100,000 voters before the June 2nd primary.
