Jason,
The American people should not have to wake up to another one of Donald Trump's reckless and unconstitutional wars.
His unauthorized strikes in Iran put American troops at risk and threaten to drag our country into a wider conflict — without authorization from Congress.
No President should be able to unilaterally drag the United States into war. That's why I'm voting to restrain Trump's military operations in Iran through the war powers resolution.
But Jason, from bypassing Congress on military action, to imposing tariff taxes that raise costs on working families, to dismantling federal agencies created by law, the president has shown a dangerous disregard for the Constitution and the rule of law.
And when a president repeatedly ignores constitutional limits, bypasses Congress, and abuses the powers of the office, what accountability should follow?
It's past time to hold Donald Trump accountable for his dangerous and unconstitutional actions and begin impeachment proceedings — sign on if you agree, Jason.
Thank you for taking a stand with me.
