Jason,
History was just made in Florida!
During Tuesday's Special Elections, Emily Gregory won the race for Florida House District 87, right in Donald Trump's backyard. Mar-a-Lago will now be represented by a Democrat in the Florida House. Democrats swung this seat to the left by double digits, in a district that was supposed to be out of reach.
Brian Nathan also pulled off an upset in Tampa's Senate District 14, a seat formerly held by Florida's Lt. Governor Jay Collins, proving once again that Democrats can run and win anywhere.
This is what year-round organizing looks like. This win is proof of what we can accomplish when we organize early, often, and everywhere.
Floridians are tired. They're tired of the chaos, the corruption, and the sky-high cost of groceries, gas, and healthcare. This week, they voted for something different.
They voted for Emily Gregory, even in Trump's backyard, and they voted for a Florida we can all afford. We're not stopping here. All across the country, Democrats' results have shown that no race is out of reach.

Our enfranchisement agenda includes working to ensure that every state has automatic voter registration and online voter registration, convenient early voting, and independent redistricting commissions to ensure politicians are not able to draw their own maps.
