The GOP has systemically targeted and discriminated against Black Americans for DECADES — and under Trump, it's getting even worse! | "In the past year, federal, state and institutional decisions have gutted major pillars of America's civil rights protections and racial equity infrastructure, wiping away public data, slashing research funding, and erasing Black history." – Axios | Historians even say President Trump's extreme rollback of civil rights has been the "largest since Reconstruction."
But right now, there's a bill that could protect Black history and end these Republican attacks at the national level. It's called the Black History is American History Act.
Jason, now more than ever, it's critical that Congress reintroduces and passes this bill to safeguard the rights of Black Americans and allow children to learn about our nation's ENTIRE history — including Black history — in schools. Otherwise, Trump and his racist Republicans will continue to rip away all the progress our ancestors fought for.
