My opponent, Kevin Kiley, has built a record of opposing reproductive freedom at every turn. In the California Assembly, he voted against Proposition 1, which enshrined abortion rights in our state Constitution. In Congress, he's supported dangerous legislation that would interfere with doctors' ability to provide care. It's no surprise he's earned failing ratings from both Planned Parenthood and NARAL Pro-Choice California.
I'm running to be the exact opposite: a pro-choice, progressive Democrat who will fight every day to protect and expand reproductive freedom — including restoring critical funding for Planned Parenthood and strengthening federal protections for abortion care.
