As the 44th Governor of Kansas and President Obama’s Secretary of Health and Human Services, I've spent my career fighting for the health and well-being of Kansas families. That is why I am proud to endorse Don Coover, the Democratic candidate in Kansas’s Second Congressional District.
Will you join me in supporting Don’s campaign to flip this district and send a true advocate for us to Washington?
I know firsthand the difference dedicated public officials can make, having worked to implement the Affordable Care Act and run Medicaid and Medicare, ensuring these programs reach children, working families, and seniors in every corner of the country. We need representatives who will advocate for their constituents’ access to health care.
In Washington, Don will be that champion because he knows the crushing cost of medical care and the urgent need for accessible, quality health care. He will fight for crucial funding for our small and rural hospitals, protect affordable healthcare programs, and always put Kansas families first.
Having won my fair share of campaigns in a place like Kansas, I also know what it’s going to take to be successful in November.
