Can I tell you a little secret, Jason?
I never intended to run for public office – especially not Governor.
I've been a physician for nearly 40 years. I thought that was my one and only career path.
But when I saw the Statehouse place special interests above everyday Ohioans over and over again for decades, I decided I couldn't look away any longer.
So no, I'm not a career politician. I'm a wife, a mother, a Youngstown native, and a preventive medicine doctor who knows all too well the tough circumstances that Ohioans are under right now.
I'm running for Governor because we don't need another out-of-touch billionaire running this state – we need someone who gets it.
But there’s a reason people like me typically don’t get elected. I don’t have billionaire friends or corrupt special interests ready to pour millions into my campaign.
Instead, I’m counting on hardworking folks like you, Jason, to ensure this campaign is fully equipped to take on Vivek Ramaswamy's warchest of MAGA money.
