Jason,
The Washington Post came to NY-17 to cover rising gas prices, and they found a district that's fed up with Mike Lawler and the disastrous MAGA agenda: |
|
|
Gas is over $4 a gallon across New York. Diesel in the Hudson Valley is nearly $7. Families are already stretched thin on groceries, health care, and home energy. And when the Post asked Mike Lawler what he was doing about it, he shrugged it off as "short-term volatility in the oil markets."
Short-term volatility. That's what he calls it when you're paying $80 to fill your tank.
While Lawler enthusiastically rubber-stamped Trump’s war on working families, I got to work. Last month, I sponsored legislation to cap Rockland County's gas sales tax to give people some relief at the pump.
That's the difference between us. Lawler dismisses it. I fix it.
And while he's not busy shrugging at your gas costs, Limousine Lawler is living high on his campaign war chest. Limos. Five-star hotels. High-end steak dinners. The hypocrisy would be funny if people here in the Hudson Valley weren’t suffering so terribly.
The House majority runs through NY-17. Republicans know it, and they just reserved $18.6 million in ad spending in our media market to protect him. We have to fight back. We have 4 days until the April deadline. Chip in $17 today to help us flip this seat, defeat Mike Lawler, and bring real results to NY-17. |
