Jason, it's Gabby Giffords.
In 2011, in the blink of an eye, my life changed forever: I was shot in the head while holding an event with constituents in a grocery store parking lot. Six people were killed that day, and 12 others were injured.
We've made real progress on gun violence prevention since then. I'll be the first to tell you, however, that there is so much more work we still must do.
Democracy, safety, and a better future for our kids are on the line in this election – and that’s why I’m proud to endorse Jeremy Moss in the race to represent Michigan’s 11th District.
In the legislature, Jeremy has fought to keep communities safe and delivered real results to prevent gun violence in Michigan. He recently introduced a bill to ban high-capacity magazines, which are often used in the deadliest mass shootings. He’s a leader we can count on to keep doing the hard work.
Michigan needs a champion like Jeremy who realizes the heartbreak gun violence causes in his state, and will never stop working to end it.
So please, I’m personally asking, Jason: Will you give $25 or more today to join me in supporting Jeremy’s campaign? Anything you can spare will go a long way. |
With courage,
Gabby Giffords |
