Recently, the Supreme Court ruled to overturn state bans on so-called conversion therapy – a devastating blow to LGBTQ+ youth.
Let’s be clear: This is not just harmful, but abusive.
No amount of junk science will change someone’s orientation or identity. And yet, the Court has made it easier for this cruelty to continue.
But we won’t stay silent. We need LGBTQ+ voices in the places where decisions about us are being made. I’m running for Congress because we need representation at the table to protect our community from harmful policies and fight for our rights.
This fight isn’t over. I’ve been a loud and proud advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, and I’ll continue to stand up for our youth, our families, and our rights. But I can’t do it alone.
