Hi Jason,
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, moms-to-be, and mother figures out there!
🫶
Especially to my mom, who has been by my side along the campaign trail. She taught me at an early age about standing on principle, advocating for what you think is right, and making the change you want to see in your community.
She was an elementary school teacher right here in metro Detroit. She was also the Michigan Education Association (MEA) representative in her building, ensuring that her colleagues had the resources needed in the classroom to be successful and shape young minds into future leaders.
As a graduate from public high school here in Oakland County myself, I carry her passion to ensure that every child has access to a quality public education.
That’s why I’m especially honored to have earned the important endorsement from my mom’s union, the MEA. It feels like a full-circle moment for me and this campaign, and I’m grateful for their support.
I’m running for Congress because I want to be an advocate for working Michiganders in Washington. From our teachers to our truck drivers to our auto workers, I promise I’ll always stand side-by-side with the working families who make Michigan run.
If you want to help send a son of an MEA teacher who’s going to stand up for our workers to Congress, will you chip in $10 or more to my campaign? |
Thank you for standing with me.
