I’m not surprised Mike Lawler attacks me. His record as a Congressman is atrocious.
❌ Mike Lawler spent over $150,000 in campaign donations on five-star hotels, private boat charters, high-end steakhouse dinners, and personal limousines.
✅ Meanwhile, I was in our district securing millions for our anti-hunger nonprofits through the government shutdown and capping the sales tax on gas because families in NY-17 shouldn't have to bear the cost of Donald Trump’s cruel budget and illegal war.
❌ Lawler brought Donald Trump to Rockland County to speak at his campaign event because he knows his control of this district is slipping and that he’s one of the most vulnerable members of Congress.
✅ Meanwhile, I was outside with our community, protesting Trump’s corruption and the GOP’s attacks on voting rights, and standing alongside nurses whose livelihoods are threatened by Trump and Lawler’s Medicaid cuts. That's what leadership looks like to me: showing up, delivering results, and refusing to back down.
That’s the energy I plan to take to Congress, and the fight for affordable healthcare, lower costs, and accountability is one I will carry with me. But I can’t get there without your support.
