I won’t mince words: ICE has been terrorizing American communities.
Over the past few months, we’ve seen what happens when a federal law enforcement agency is allowed to act without accountability — masked agents rampaging through our streets, families ripped apart, and hardworking people living in fear in their own communities.
We don’t deserve to continue like this. That’s exactly why I’m running for Congress. To take this fight to Washington and hold ICE accountable for its abuses while protecting Michigan families.

And it wasn’t just talk. I sponsored and co‑sponsored legislation in the Michigan Senate to rein in lawless federal actions and bring transparency and oversight to enforcement practices that harm everyday people.
That’s the kind of fight I’m bringing to Washington — one rooted in principle, grounded in fairness, and unwilling to back down from powerful interests.
