- Don Coover, a first-time candidate, was one of only about 20 Democratic challengers in the country to outraise their Republican incumbent opponent! This remarkable momentum is driven by people who are tired of the status quo and career politicians. Don is the opposite: a veterinarian and cattle rancher who grew up on a soybean farm in Southeast Kansas. He is ready to deliver different results for the district.
- 96% of our donations this year came from individual donors. We received contributions from every single one of the 27 counties in Kansas’s Second Congressional District.
