| "A piece of chicken, a piece of broccoli, you know, a corn tortilla, and one other thing." That's what Brooke Rollins, Trump's Secretary of Agriculture, said Americans should eat to survive in the economy this administration has created. Once again, they're pouring water over our heads and trying to convince us it's raining. While Trump builds himself a $300 million ballroom and politicians like Derek Schmidt attend fancy parties in Mar-a-Lago and England, Americans and Kansans are left alone to figure out how to afford the healthcare, food, and housing they need to survive. It's time we vote out politicians like Derek Schmidt, who are only in it for themselves and their ultra-wealthy donors. He's been in politics for two decades now, and things have only gotten more expensive for us. I wouldn't be asking if I didn't need to. But what this administration is doing, betraying and insulting hard-working Americans while calling the affordability crisis a "hoax," is unacceptable. If you're tired of out-of-touch politicians in Washington, will you chip in $5 to help a Kansas rancher, veterinarian, and Army veteran win this race? |
