I've seen this abuse of power up close. As an immigration attorney, I defend clients from all over the world who have fled authoritarian regimes that behave like this. I am not afraid to stand up to protect our Constitutional rights and have done so successfully for decades. Narciso Barranco's case is just one example. His case was dismissed because the law still matters and justice is served when someone is willing to stand up to defend it.
If extremists are willing to use ICE to intimidate voters, then we need leaders who are willing to stand up to them in Congress. That's why I'm running. And that's why your support matters right now.
