Jason, The Cook Political Report is calling the race for CO-08 a toss up, and although the word “literally” gets thrown around an awful lot, Cook’s voting index literally has this seat as 50/50. But here’s an important note: The more people across the district hear from us, the more likely they are to support my campaign and join this grassroots team. That means the best possible thing we can do to pull ahead in this race and put ourselves in a prime position to retake the House is to continue talking to as many Coloradans as possible. But knocking on doors, making phone calls, hosting community events, and running a nimble digital program aren’t cheap. We’ve also launched TV ads, and keeping those running is absolutely mission-critical to winning this hotly contested race. We need to harness this momentum and use it to continue building up the size of this grassroots team. Reaching every fundraising target is essential to continue running at full steam ahead.
