Who does Constantino answer to?

In his own words, here’s who he’ll answer to in Congress.

I want to talk about a simple question: who will Anthony Constantino answer to if he goes to Congress? He’s told us himself. He’s said people should always be “subordinate to the leader,” and that he sees himself that way with Donald Trump.  He’s said that if he ever disagreed with the president, he’d keep it private rather than say so in public.  And when he was asked whether Congress should have any say on matters of war, he told people to stay calm and trust the president. Congress is supposed to answer to the voters back home. He’s told you in his own words that he wouldn’t. I don’t know how else to say it. I’m a dairy farmer. The only people I answer to are the folks in this district.  If a vote comes up that hurts farmers here, I’ll say so out loud, no matter who’s in the White House. That’s the job. I think folks here know the difference. The numbers are saying it and the people are too. People in the North Country aren’t looking for someone who’ll fall in line. They want someone who’ll show up for them. Constantino has put $17 million of his own money into this race, and he’ll keep spending right up to Election Day. I don’t want to match that, but our campaign needs to stay competitive.
