It’s official: The general election for PA Governor has begun

Jason, it’s Governor Josh Shapiro.

I’m a dad, a husband, the son of a pediatrician and a teacher. Now, I’m the official Democratic nominee in my reelection campaign for the Governor of Pennsylvania.

Growing up, my parents taught me about the responsibility to help others and repair the world around us.

Those lessons have guided me my whole life — as a State Rep, County Commissioner, as Attorney General, and now as Governor.

When I-95 collapsed in Pennsylvania, we rebuilt it in 12 days. When families needed relief, we cut taxes. When kids needed a fair shot, we invested in public schools and delivered free breakfast. And when Donald Trump and the far-right threatened our freedoms, I stood up and fought back.

Now, I’m running for reelection because all of that progress is on the line.

But Jason, Pennsylvania is one of the toughest battleground states in the country. Trump won here in 2024, and National Republicans think they can win here again. I know we can stop them, but I’ll need every bit of support I can muster.
