The paperwork has been filed, and I’m running for re-election to continue representing Delaware in the House of Representatives.
My first term in Congress has been eventful to say the least. Elon Musk’s DOGE ransacked the federal government, Republicans slashed funding for Medicaid, food assistance, and other critical programs working families rely on, and Donald Trump started a reckless, illegal war that has caused even more pain for Americans as gas prices rose in response.
But every step of the way, I’ve been proud to stand up and fight for what’s right for Delaware. Now, this November, we have a chance to take back the majority and start passing an agenda that will put working families first for a change.
When I was first elected last year, I said that I believe small states can do big things — and there is no limit to what we can accomplish when we work together to make people’s lives better. That holds true now more than ever.
If we’re going to flip the House in this year’s midterms so that we can hold this administration accountable and pass a budget that centers the needs of regular Delawareans over Trump and his billionaire allies, it has to start by keeping this seat blue.
Republicans would love nothing more than to flip Delaware red, and I’m going to do everything I can to make sure that doesn’t happen. That’s why I just finished visiting all 57 of Delaware’s municipalities in just 57 hours — to talk to our neighbors across the state and remind them why they trusted me to represent them in Congress: to deliver lower costs, expand access to healthcare, and protect our fundamental rights.
I’m going to keep going every single day between now and November, and I’m going to need your help along the way.
