I have some news I'm incredibly proud to share.
The Alaska AFL-CIO — the state's largest labor organization, representing more than 50,000 union members across over 50 affiliated unions — has endorsed this campaign. |
This one means everything to me.
I carried a union card during part of my time as a construction worker and for 11 years as a teacher. I know what unions have meant for working people in this state and I know what's at stake when the people in power try to take that away.
Working people built Alaska. Unions built the middle class. And for too long, Alaska's one voice in Congress has been voting for tax breaks for billionaires instead of fighting for the people who actually do the work.
That ends when we win this race.
I will be a champion for organized labor in Congress. I'll fight to strengthen workers' ability to organize, protect retirement security, invest in Alaska's workforce, and make sure working families have a real voice in Washington — not just corporations and special interests.
50,000 union members across Alaska are with us. Will you join them by chipping in to my campaign today? |
