I feel like this should go without saying, but it’s absurd that my neighbors in Naknek sometimes pay a higher tax rate than billionaires and corporations.
Working families in Alaska and around the country won’t have our fair shake until billionaires and big corporations pay their fair share.
It’s not fair that working families pay tens of thousands of dollars in taxes, while some of the wealthiest people and corporations get off the hook paying a lower tax rate.
I support taxing the 1% and closing tax loopholes that mean my neighbors in Naknek are sometimes paying a higher tax rate than our country’s biggest corporations.
