Jason, Nancy Mace is at it again.

This time, she’s calling for the elimination of identity-based caucuses in Congress, calling them “federally sanctioned segregation.”

Her proposal targets caucuses I’m proud to sit on, including the Congressional Black Caucus, the Black Maternal Health Caucus, and the Congressional Caucus on Black Women & Girls — groups working to make sure Black communities and other marginalized people aren't ignored in the halls of Congress.

In reality, this is just yet another thinly veiled attempt to silence Black voices and Black leaders. I’m not having any of it.

Can you donate $10 today to help me stand up against these racist attacks and keep fighting for the communities I’m PROUD to represent in Congress?

Jason, these caucuses exist because the work is far from over.

The Congressional Black Caucus has spent more than 50 years fighting for equal opportunity and pushing back against racial discrimination. The Black Maternal Health Caucus is working to end the unacceptable racial disparities in maternal health. And the Congressional Caucus on Black Women & Girls ensures that the voices and experiences of Black women and girls aren't ignored in the policymaking process.

Nancy Mace can try to dismiss that work, but I won't.

These caucuses don't divide us — they help Congress better serve communities that have too often been left behind.

If you're with me, will you make a contribution of $10 today to help me keep fighting for Black and marginalized communities and make sure everyone has a seat at the table?
