They've been pouring money into this district all year, and their hand-picked candidate is out here every single day campaigning to try to take this seat. My first TV ad just went up, and every week it stays on the air costs money. On top of that, our final FEC deadline before Election Day is at the end of this month, and the number we report will be the last one voters, reporters and Republicans see before they head to the polls. I won last time by only 2 points.  This race will be just as close and every week between now and November matters. We're not giving them an opening.
