I hate this.

I hate asking for money, Jason. I know you have better things to do than read these emails. But can I explain?    Campaigns cost money. A lot of money. I wish they didn't, but this is what we're working with. And if we want to continue getting stuff done in the Senate, then I need to win this election. Plan and simple.    The GOP is already hammering me with vicious attacks. They're trying to turn me into someone I'm not—because they can't beat who I am.   That's where you come in.
