Jason, After Alaskans voted in favor of ranked-choice voting through a ballot initiative in 2020, Alaska Republicans are doing everything they can to undo the will of Alaska voters. Ranked choice voting gives Alaska voters more power in deciding who represents us by: - Requiring candidates to receive over 50% of the vote to win and ensuring Alaska-supported candidates are elected with majority support.
- Giving Alaska voters more options and the freedom to vote for their favorite candidate rather than voting against another candidate.
- Having candidates appeal to a broader audience and focus on the issues the diverse people of Alaska care about rather than appealing to special interests.
Ranked-choice voting is on the ballot in November, and we need your help to spread the word to voters across Alaska and protect ranked-choice voting! Will you chip in $10 to help us expand our voter outreach, education, and turnout efforts to reach Alaska voters across the state and encourage them to vote against Alaska Republicans' ballot measure to eliminate ranked-choice voting in the state? |
