| Jason, Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and reflect on the courage exhibited by those who shaped the civil rights movement. Dr. King believed deeply that progress comes from compassion and from people refusing to accept injustice. As Dr. King declared with such clarity and conviction, "injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." In this spirit, he fought for a government that worked for everyone, not just the powerful. From protecting the right to vote, to demanding fair wages, to insisting that housing and opportunity be within reach for all, his vision still speaks directly to the challenges we face today. This day is not just about remembrance. It is a call to action. The work Dr. King dedicated his life to is far from finished. We must continue fighting for racial justice, protecting voting rights, and uplifting communities by creating opportunities for every citizen. I believe, as Dr. King did, that real change happens when we work together and lead with empathy and resolve. Collective action rooted in a relentless commitment to the fight for justice everywhere is needed now more than ever. It is this fight that I am committed to bringing from the campaign trail to Congress. Together, let's honor Dr. King's legacy not only with reflection but with renewed commitment to building a country that is fairer, more inclusive, and more just for everyone. Thank you for standing with me and for believing in the power of people coming together to create lasting change. With gratitude and resolve, Stefany |
