Today, we remember and honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dr. King encouraged us to move past hate and division, and his legacy continues to inspire us to strive toward justice, fairness, and equality.

As Mayor of Orange County, I created the Orange County Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Initiative to help bring Dr. King's vision to our community and inspire us all to serve it as best we can. Today, we're participating in the 3rd Annual MLK Day of Service Million Meal Pack to distribute meals across Central Florida.

Dr. King once said, "Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve." While we reflect on Dr. King's legacy today, I encourage you not only to act today but to do so every day as we work together toward a better future for all of us.
