The results are coming in — here's where we stand:

Jason, Votes are still being counted in CA-22, and I wanted to give you a quick update on where things stand: These are early returns, and a significant number of ballots have yet to be counted. The waiting game is tough — believe me. But we are committed to supporting a process that is handled accurately and fairly. What I can tell you right now is this: these early results are very encouraging, and if this trend holds we are in a strong position to advance to the general election. I also want to say something I mean with every part of me — thank you. We faced over $4 million in outside spending from Super PACs running shameful smear campaigns against us. Against you. Against everything we've built together — and you stuck with us anyway. I'd take that over any multi-million dollar ad campaign from the special interests any day. I am so proud of every single person who believed the Central Valley deserved better — and proved it.
