NJ-09 State of the Race Memo

You're going to want to see this, Jason

Re: NJ-09 State of the Race Memo

With the midterm elections quickly approaching, we wanted to give you a clear look at where this race stands.

This is a true swing district. NJ-09 is one of the most competitive districts in the country. Donald Trump narrowly carried it in 2024. Then, Mikie Sherrill won here in 2025. This race is on the map as one of the few seats that could decide control of the House.

We have a MAGA-backed opponent. Our opponent has built her campaign around loyalty to Donald Trump and his agenda. That's the choice voters will face in November: a Congresswoman who works for NJ-09, or a Republican who works for the MAGA agenda.

Dark money is already moving. Outside groups are already spending money to try to attack Nellie before voters learn the facts. This is what a top-tier target race looks like, and it's only going to intensify as we get closer to November.

Seats like this one are won by campaigns that build real, grassroots operations early. We have the resources to compete, but only if we keep building now.

Will you make a contribution today to help us meet this moment?
