Nikema Williams for Congress

Jason,

When I walk into the halls of Congress, I carry the words of my late predecessor, Congressman John Lewis: “Our struggle is the struggle of a lifetime.”

With the Supreme Court’s latest decisions to gut the Voting Rights Act, the fight is becoming even more important.

Let's be clear about what's happening: For years, we've watched Republicans chip away at voting rights — from the Supreme Court's decision in Shelby County v. Holder to state laws making it harder to vote. Now, with this latest ruling, they're one step closer to closing the doors that generations of civil rights leaders fought to open.

We cannot let that happen.

Will you chip in $10 today to help me continue this fight and carry on the movement it will take to protect our democracy?
