That's when this race really begins. Every ballot that goes out in CA-22 becomes a vote we either earn or lose. I've spent this campaign in town halls and forums across this district, and the contrast between me and David Valadao is crystallized in every one of them. Voters are disgusted that Trump launched a war with Iran that's costing taxpayers billions and driving up the price of gas, fuel, and fertilizer right here in the Valley. Farmers are paying more to ship crops, families are paying more at the pump, and Valadao has had nothing to say about any of it. I believe we should end these forever wars and invest that money in our communities here at home, like in healthcare and housing. Valadao hides from his voters. I show up where people can have their say in their own future. That's the difference. This is one of the closest House races in the country, and outside groups are already outspending us significantly to save Valadao's seat. Now is not the time to slow down, especially with ballots about to start hitting mailboxes.
