The primary results are in, and as usual, Emerge alums are winning! Nearly 600 Emerge women advanced to the general election in 36 states, including:
🌶️Sec. Deb Haaland, who would become the first indigenous woman governor in the United States, with a win in her race for New Mexico governor in November
🌵Gov. Katie Hobbs, running for reelection in Arizona in one of the purplest states in America against far-right election-denier Andy Bigg
🍁Amanda Janoo, a first-time candidate who won the Democratic nomination for governor in Vermont, seeking to flip the governor’s mansion from red to blue
🌴Dr. Annie Andrews, a trusted pediatrician running for U.S. Senate in South Carolina against the Trump-endorsed sister of the late Senator Lindsey Graham, Darline Graham Nordone
🦫U.S. Rep. Janelle Bynum, a DCCC Frontline candidate in Oregon’s 5th Congressional District, a must-protect seat in order for Democrats to flip the House red-to-blue
🏜️JoAnna Mendoza, a first-time candidate running to flip Arizona’s 6th Congressional District to become the first woman Marine veteran elected to Congress
