I announced my Independent campaign for Scranton mayor and against the local Democratic Party’s cronyism. Our campaign was dubbed Paige Against the Machine.
November 5, 2019
I won our historic mayoral campaign, becoming the first female mayor of Scranton after winning a tough election against the local Democratic machine — all while eight months pregnant.
January 6, 2020
Just two weeks after my daughter Sloane was born, I was sworn in as mayor. In the six years since then, we cleaned up City Hall, balanced the books, cut red tape, and brought hundreds of small businesses and over a thousand homes to our neighborhoods.

We launched this campaign for Congress to challenge corrupt Rob Bresnahan and restore accountability in NEPA. It somehow feels like a lifetime ago and just yesterday.

We advanced to the general election, and I became the official Democratic nominee to take on Rob and his corruption in November. I’m ready to reform Congress the way I reformed Scranton — but I need your help to do it.
