The August Cornfields

The days are still warm, the fields are full, and everywhere you look, cornfields are standing tall.

🌽Summer is fading fast, and so is our August deadline.🌽 With just hours left, we need your help to cross the finish line. Will you chip in today to reach our goal? CHIP IN BEFORE MIDNIGHT → Jason, There’s something about late August on a farm. The days are still warm, the fields are full, and everywhere you look, cornfields are standing tall. But you can feel the season beginning to turn. The mornings are a little cooler. The days are getting shorter, and before long, summer will be behind us. When I look at those cornfields, I don’t think about an ending. I think about what comes next, because the work we’ve been doing all summer is starting to show. Every door knocked, every conversation, every volunteer shift, every person who decided to believe that we can win this race. Those are the seeds we’ve been planting. Now, as August comes to a close, we need to keep tending to them. Our $20,000 August goal is still within reach, but tonight is the deadline. That means we have one more chance to make sure we have the resources to reach undecided voters, support our volunteers, and take our message to every corner of this district.
