We made it. Now comes the hard part.

One fisherman. One race. One shot at November.

The primary is over — and I want to say thank you.
You helped get us here. And the results show that we are exactly where we wanted to be: in a head to head race between me and Nick Begich. Will you become a general election Founding Donor today to help us maintain momentum through November?
I'm a commercial fisherman from Naknek, Alaska. I got into this race because I couldn't stay on the sidelines — and because I believe Alaska deserves a representative who actually understands the life people are living here. The primary proved this campaign is real. Now we have to win the whole thing.
Polls show us leading when voters hear about both candidates. Race raters moved this contest in our direction. Mike Johnson flew to Alaska to try to save Begich because he knows this seat is slipping away.
Begich has $3.5 million to get his message to every voter in the largest congressional district in the country. Alaska is bigger than Texas, California, and Montana combined. Getting our message across it means small planes, long miles, TV ads, and real resources. I can't self-fund this race. The people who step up right now are the ones who make it possible.
