Why we're supporting Bob Kelly

Jason,

If it weren’t for politicians of both parties caving to the powerful gun lobby for years, we could have passed Extreme Risk Protection Orders in the legislature instead of a long and expensive ballot measure fight.

That’s why this year we’re committed to electing a gun safety majority to our State House, and supporting our endorsed candidates across the state.

First up: Bob Kelly, who’s running for State House to represent Old Orchard Beach, in District 131.

Bob spent 27 years working in healthcare as an x-ray technologist in hospitals around the country. One of his first positions was at a hospital in Columbine, Colorado.

Bob was working at the hospital when the Columbine High School shooting happened in 1999, and it was his responsibility to perform x-rays on some of the students. Seeing firsthand the devastating effects of gun violence on children and on a community changes a person, and Bob is no exception. He will be an unwavering ally in Augusta.

Bob Kelly will fight to prevent gun violence and help keep our communities safe.

Electing Bob to the State House is crucial to our movement and continued progress. Will you join us in supporting him right now with a contribution to help us get him elected?
